“Excellent food and service as usual at Auberge. My sirloin steak was delicious cooked to my liking and my husband had a Wagu burger which he enjoyed. Would thoroughly recommend a visit”

What People Are Saying
“Definitely would recommend. Very good indeed on all counts.
Simply perfect. Great food, atmosphere and service. Especially good was the house red - Richelieu. So good we've tracked it down since to order it at home.”

“I came to auberge with my husband for my 30th birthday, the atmosphere in the restaurant is always lovely and Russell always goes out of his way to make you feel special. I was treated to a 30th birthday desert platter which was absolutely amazing and unexpected and made my meal really special. Definitely come here if you want lovely food, great atmosphere and to be taken care of. Thank you auberge :) :)”

“Four of us ate there last night and it was faultless. Really varied menu. I fancied just about everything on there. The food and drink is very reasonably priced. Nice ambiance and good service. Thank you. Look forward to trying your Winter Warmers menu.”

“Auberge is treating us unfortunate enough to be in the Liverpool City Region to a little time away from the TV with their Monday to Friday Winter Warmer delights from 12 noon to 5.30 pm with a choice of 5 lovely main courses at £6.95 and a couple of desserts at £3.95.
We have just had the nicest steak and kidney pie ever with gorgeous mash and veg.Other treats to be had include fish and chips and roast of the day and of course a veg option. Treating ourselves to wine as well.We don’t know how long these restrictions will last but at least we know where to come to while away the time. Excellent social distancing and customer service.”

“We regularly visit The Auberge restaurant in Southport. This week they’ve introduced a new Winter Warmers menu. Monday - Friday 12 noon to 5.30 pm. All mains are £6.95 and desserts £3.95. I had fish and chips while my husband had roast beef with roast potatoes and vegetables both meals were to the usual high standard that we’ve come to enjoy every time we visit. Also offered is the extensive Lunch Menu 12noon - 5pm We can truly recommend The Auberge and during times like this feel that it’s important to support all our local businesses. Russell and his team are maintaining a very high standard of responsible measures in these challenging times and all official guidelines are being implemented. Going back today for lunch maybe I’ll try the Root vegetable cottage pie with olive oil mash.”

“There are so many fabulous eateries in the Southport area that up until now we’d overlooked Auberge. What a mistake. At an incredible £13.50 for a 2 course lunch, we were simply blown away by the top quality food and excellent service. There were quite a few things we were tempted by on the menu but we settled for 2 Mediterranean platter starters, followed by the sea bass and the chickpea burger. There is very obviously a chef at Auberge who takes great pride in the food as it was all faultless. The portion sizes are huge and we were sorry not to sample a pudding, but we will next time. My final comment has to be on the vegetarian (in fact it may have been vegan) burger. It’s really difficult to find a vegetarian burger with the texture just right, usually they’re either too soft or too dry. The one I had for lunch today was spot on, so very well done Auberge and will you please share the secret?”
